Pakistan’s squad for 2019 World Cup will be announced on April 18, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Friday.
The Chairman of Pakistan’s Selection Committee, Inzamam-UL-Haq will announce the fifteen player squad for the England tour. This squad will also include the players for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Apart from the 15 player squad for the World Cup, two players will be additionally included in the England Tour Squad.

Previously, it was announced that team will select players from 23 probables nominated. But, recently, the Pakistan Cricket Board said that Muhammad Nawaz, the left-arm spinner will undergo his fitness test early at the National Cricket Academy on April 13, Saturday. This was done so at the request of the State Bank of Pakistan as they want him to play in their opening match against the Army in the Patron’s Trophy Grade-II.

The remaining 22 probables will undergo a fitness test on April 15 and 16 at the National Cricket Academy. The 22 probables will participate in the training session at the Gaddafi Stadium at 0900 and they will be visioned on 16th And 17th April. And the next day, the squad will be announced.
The players that are included in the World Cup probables list excluding Muhammad Nawaz are, Babar Azam, Abid Ali, Asif Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Hassan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Junaid Khan, Imam-UL-Haq, Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Hasnain, Muhammad Hafeez, Muhammad Rizwan, Shan Masood, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Yasir Shah, Usman Shinwari, Shadab Khan and Sarfaraz Ahmed as Captain.
After this, the Pakistani Team will leave at 23rd April for a 83-day long hectic tour in the England. During the 83 day tour, they will play one T20 practice match and one T20 International, four 50-over warm-up matches and five One Day Internationals before participating in the 46 day ICC World Cup starting from May 30.
