The Kashmiri Hurriyat Leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani has sent out an SOS message yesterday after the deployment of 35,000 Indian Troops in the occupied Kashmir Valley. There are already half a million Indian soldiers in the valley. The Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir is the most heavily militarized region on the face of the earth.
The Indian forces have been committing grave atrocities against the Muslim Kashmiris since last 25 years. A whole generation of Kashmiris has been raised under the ugly oppression of India.

Fear has gripped the valley:
After the announcement of the deployment of additional paramilitary troops in the occupied land, the Indian administration also told the tourist and Yatris (pilgrims to the Amar Nath Yatra) to leave Kashmir ASAP. These recent developments have engulfed the valley in fear. And the people are speculating their situation will get worse with these new developments.
Even pro-Indian Mehbooba Mufti could not stop herself from protesting,
What about Kashmiris? Who will protect their lives? Are they cannon fodder? https://t.co/XPOlwnjaUG

The Indian forces cut down areas of Srinagar, the Valley’s capital during the night with barbed wire and steel fences. Also, there is a communication black out in Kashmir India as the Indian government has banned the internet. This move is supposedly made to prevent protest.
Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani called the Muslims of the world for help:
The Kashmiri leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani tweeted, That this tweet should be considered an SOS message. He warned that India is planning a genocide in the Kashmir Valley and if the Kashmiris die the whole world will be answerable to Allah.

Another Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq urged Kashmiris to stay strong in the face of adversity.

Kashmir is the top twitter trend in Pakistan:
Government, people, celebrities and politicians, everybody pledged solidarity with Kashmiri brothers and sisters. Twitter disabled Sayed Ali Geelani’s account and but they couldn’t help trends like #StandWithKashmir, #ModiKillingInKashmir, #KashmirHamaraHai and #KashmirHamaraHy.
