Sarfaraz Ahmed, batting line up

With the World Cup coming up, and the National Cricket Team has just finalized their 15-member squad, counting in the legendary left-arm pacer, Muhammad Amir, Asif Ali and Wahab Riaz back in the Squad and the captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed is in good form for the cup. Apart from this, there are low hopes for the team to qualify for the semi-finals seeing their back to back defeats against England, which doesn’t pose as a good image for the World-Cup. Everything is here, now the Cricket Fans are waiting for the final thing, the batting line up.

It’s been a long time, Sarfaraz Ahmed has always batted at number four, but this time he isn’t. Zainab Abbas, the sports anchor, who is hosting this year’s International Coverage of the ICC World Cup 2019 in England and Wales, asked the question to the Pakistani Skipper about these recent changes in the Pakistani Batting Line up.

Seeing the talent in the Pakistan’s Batting side, Sarfaraz Ahmed has stepped down to play at Number 5 and made some changes in the Batting Line Up.

In the Warm-up game, we tested and found some 7-8 good batsmen, and said that In Sha Allah, I’ll be batting at Number 5 in the mega-tournament.

Regarding the defeat against Afghanistan in the warm-up match, the Pakistani Captain said that, it was a tough start for Pakistan, and we were only 15,20 runs short and on the Bowling edge, I think we conceded too many runs in the first 10 overs of the match.

Commenting on the comeback of Wahab Riaz, he said, “It’s good to see Wahab Riaz back. Hopefully, he will do well in the next matches as well.”

And briefing about the losing in the last 10 ODI’s, captain said that the little mistakes has always costed us the whole match. We just need one win and we’ll be back.
