Sana Mir has made Pakistan proud by holding the record for the most wickets in the ODIs by a spinner and listed her name in the greatest of all women’s cricket. The 33-year-old Pakistani off-spinner Sana mir cricketer recently joined Anisa Mohammed and Lisa Sthalekar and took her 146th Wicket in the ODI cricket against South Africa on Sunday.
Sana Mir has an average 24.34 career with an economy of 3.68 along with the best of 5/32.
She has now made her position as the third one in the list of most wickets at ODIs after the two fast bowlers Cathryn Lorraine Fitzpatrick (180) and Jhulan Goswami (218).
On Thursday, Sana mir cricketer equaled the score when South Africa beat Pakistan by eight wickets in the match of the second ICC Women’s Championship at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom. Sana Mir took the wicket of Andrie Steyn as South Africa chased the score of 148 runs with a loss of 2 wickets. This was Mir’s 117th match of her career.

On Monday, after becoming the successful spin bowler in the history of Pakistan’s women one-day International ODI cricket, she said that this is the best moment in her lifetime and it couldn’t be possible without her team.
She took her 147th wicket in the third ODI of the women’s cricket Championship ICC by dismissing the South African “Sune Luus”. Previously this title of being the world’s most successful spinner was held by an Australian player named “Lisa Sthalekar”. Sana Mir said she called her to congratulate her on this new record.
She told the Arab News on the telephone that Sthalekar has always been an inspiration for her since 2009 when Sana played her first World Cup. She said that this is a huge moment for her and she has always looked for Lisa Sthalekar as her inspiration.
She further stated that she has been receiving calls from all over the globe. South African Cricketer Mignon du Preez and Indian best leading wicket-taker Jhulan Goswami also reached out to her to congratulate her. She was overwhelmed that everyone has been very kind to her.
