Redmi Flagship Will Come With In-screen Fingerprint Reader

Chinese Tech Giant, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi is going to announce its flagship. There are leaks around the corner that the Redmi flagship will feature a Snapdragon 855 processor. And, previously it was heard that it would be called a Redmi X. But, with the latest rumors in the tech industry, it is almost certain that it would go with a Redmi K20 pro.

This new Redmi’s phone will supposedly be launched on the upcoming 14th of May. This will be the first Redmi flagship.

In a Social Media Post on May 1, by the Redmi’s Manager, Lu Weibing, that it won’t be named Redmi X but a better name will be allotted.

A few days ago, before the launch, a sticker of the phone is shown in a leak, with most likely to be named Redmi K20 Pro.

He also mentioned in the post that the phone will have stronger performance, bigger battery for better usage, better camera, and a higher screen to body ratio.

This will be the first product ever by the Xiaomi Redmi to feature Qualcomm’s flagship chip, the Snapdragon 855.

According to the recent leaks, the Redmi flagship is most likely to feature a bezel-less display, a pop-up selfie shooter.

The Phone will feature a 6.39 AMOLED Touchscreen, a 48 MP main camera on the back, a 20 MP selfie shooter, and a 4000 mAh big battery which will support 27W fast charging. The fingerprint sensor will be stuffed in-screen.

The tech market was already stuffed with the info about its screen size and the camera, although, the remaining mentioned information is new.

There are other rumors that the Redmi will host the event for its flagship announcement on May 13 or May 20. Other than that, it is also speculated that the Chinese tech giant is working on a Snapdragon 730 smartphone, expectedly to launch with the Redmi Flagship.
