The Xiaomi Redmi 7 is another budgeted smartphone from the brand, with a bigger battery as usual what Xiaomi offers, a dual rear camera setup following the trend of 2019 even in the low-budget phones of today.
At an event in New Delhi, Xiaomi along with Redmi Y3, announced the Redmi 7, which comes with entry-level specs, as usual which goes for the phones in this price range. The phone is coming in two colour variants.
The phone was already launched in China, recently in India, and in the upcoming weeks, it will be announced in Pakistan too.
Redmi 7 is as usual follows the same design catalogue as that of the previous Xiaomi phones. Same water-drop notch, same sleek design, small bezels and colour gradient options.
Redmi 7 Design and Display:
The company highlights Redmi 7 in the terms of its aura smoke design. Redmi 7 comes with a small bezel display of 6.26 inches supporting HD + resolution of (720 X 1520) of 19:9 aspect ratio and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display.
Internals and Storage:
Under the hood is a budget, performance efficient Snapdragon 632 on the 14nm architecture and Adreno 506 GPU. On the basis of Ram and Storage options, the phone comes in three variants. Ram options include 2 GB/ 3 GB/ 4 GB and storage options include 16 GB / 32 GB / 64 GB storages respectively.
On the back is a fingerprint sensor with two camera sensors (12 MP + 2 MP). The 12 MP is the main sensor, whereas, the 2 MP is the depth sensor.
Xiaomi Redmi 7 Camera, Battery and Pricing:
The dew drop notch covers the selfie camera of 8 MP, which has the Face Unlock feature and the AI mode features beauty camera.
Redmi 7 comes with a bigger battery of 4,000 mAh but sadly, it doesn’t support any fast charging. The 2 GB Ram and 16 GB variant is priced at $114, and in Pakistan, it expected at 19,999/-. The next variant is priced at $129.
