With months of rumours, leaks and teases, OnePlus launches OnePlus 7 alongside OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.
The Chinese Makers are already popular for making premium phones that are relatively low in their prices against their competitors.
Up till now, the OnePlus 7 Pro is the most expensive phone by the company, with its 6 GB Base variant starting from $699.
The phone will be available for sale in most of the countries, from 21st of May, but for the eagerly waiting, they’ll be available on Pre-order from 16th May.
The latest OnePlus flagship comes with, what company calls it a Fluid AMOLED Screen, 90 Hz Display, and a higher resolution of 3120 X 1440, with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
The sexy display just doesn’t end here, only because of its round edges, the display has an astonishing 93.22% screen to body ratio, and the phone has the same size as that of the OnePlus 6T, but the OnePlus 7 pro features a larger screen. This is only because on the front, there’s no notch, no fingerprint, no bezels, and no front-camera.
The in-display fingerprint scanner is larger than the one used in the OnePlus 6T and is fast and more accurate.
The Front camera on the OnePlus 7 Pro is a motorized Pop-Up selfie camera that pops up when you switch the camera to front camera mode. It is one of the highest quality selfie cameras ever used, which has the capability to withstand 300 thousand opening and closing cycles.
The phone features the fastest chip available in the market, the Snapdragon 855, which has an additional perk of liquid cooling system for thermal management.
The phone will come in with three RAM options, 6 GB, 8GB, and 12 GB. And it has an additional support of up to 256 GB Storage of UFS 3.0. According to OnePlus, it has a 79 percent faster read/write than the UFS 2.1. This can allow the larger applications and games to be installed five times faster.
The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a 4,000 mAh battery, which is the biggest battery used by the company in any of its phones. The company is as usual coming with their fast chargers, this time with a Warp charger, and has the capacity of charging the phone up to 50% in 20 minutes. The Warp Charge has a liquid cooling system which comes is at an advantage that the phone doesn’t heat up while gaming and charging.
The company has also added stereo speaker’s support, with a dual speaker system featuring a Dolby Atmos. This gives the phone, perk of a 90 percent less distortion at high volumes as compared to the previous phones by the company.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is the company’s first phone to come with a triple camera, following the trend. The main camera is Sony 1/2” IMX586 sensor of 48 Mega Pixels with a f/1.6 aperture capable of OIS and EIS. This allows a multi-stacking frame High Dynamic Range photo capture. The next sensor is a 16 Mega Pixel ultra-wide sensor, followed by 3X 8 Mega Pixel Telephoto Lens.
The phone has no support for wireless charging and comes with no IP rating for screen and dust protection, although the metal and aluminum frame and glass is pretty durable.
