Greta

Well, “Greta” is a psychological thriller film, looks terrifying. Jordan and Ray Wright, co-write the film and it is directed by Neil Jordan. The film stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Isabelle Huppert, Colm Feore, Stephen Rea, and Maika Monroe. The story starts when a beautiful young girl finds a woman’s handbag on the subway and while returning it to her, they form a friendship. The world premiere of Greta held on 6 September 2018 at the Toronto International Film Festival and the lesson of the film is “Never be kind to anyone.”

Captain Marvel

Thanks to this 2019 first Hollywood film starring a female superhero, based on Carol Danvers, the Marvel Comics character. The production is from Marvel Studios and directed by Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, with Geneva Robertson-Dworet also featuring in the story. The film stars Brie Larson, alongside Ben Mendelsohn, Samuel L. Jackson, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Clark Gregg, Annette Bening, and Jude Law. The story is set in 1995, follows Danvers, who becomes a superhero, Captain Marvel. You’ll just have to deal with this masterpiece; if there is only one choice given to you to see one must watch movie, it should be this one.

I’m Not Here

A 2017 American drama film, from a screenplay by Tony Cummings and Schumacher. This Hollywood film is directed and produced by Michelle Schumacher, and stars Sebastian Stan, J.K. Simmons, Max Greenfield, Iain Armitage, Maika Monroe, and Mandy Moore. It had its world premiere on September 21, 2017, at the Raindance Film Festival, and was released on March 8, 2019, in the United States, by Gravitas Ventures.

Gloria Bell

This drama film had its world premiere on September 7, 2018, at the Toronto International Film Festival, and was released in the U.S on March 8, 2019. It is remake of a Chilean film, features a middle-aged female who lives for her own happiness. Gloria Bell is written and directed by Sebastian Lelio, stars John Turturro, Julianne Moore, Michael Cera, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Brad Garrett, Holland Taylor, Rita Wilson, Sean Astin, and Caren Pistorius. The story of this film is of a free-spirited middle aged-divorcee who spends her nights dancing and joyfully letting loose at night club. She soon finds herself into a new romance, filled with love and the complications of dating.

It had its world premiere on September 8, 2018, at the Toronto International Film Festival and was released in the U.S on March 15, 2019.  The Hummingbird Project is a Canadian-Belgian drama thriller film produced by Pierre Even and directed by Kim Nguyen. The story is about and ultra-low latency direct market access and high-frequency trading. It stars Alexander Skarsgård, Jesse Eisenberg, Michael Mando, and Salma Hayek, who use technology to make money. Remember Jesse Eisenberg movie?

The Act

There is a huge list of must-watch movies, but The Act on Hulu is a true crime drama web series premiered on March 20, 2019. This real-life story is based on Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who got murdered. If you remember Mommy Dead & Dearest (HBO‘s documentary), — it’s the same backstory.

Us

The film stars Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, Lupita Nyong’o, Evan Alex, Shahadi Wright, Joseph, and Tim Heidecker and directed by Jordan Peele. “Us” is a 2019 (first announced in February 2018) American horror film had its world premiere on March 8, 2019, at South by Southwest and was theatrically released in the U.S on March 22, 2019. This film by Universal Pictures received praise for Peele’s screenplay, as well as for the acting and musical score and has grossed over $245 million worldwide.

Dumbo

The film screenplay is written by Ehren Kruger and is directed by Tim Burton. It is an American fantasy adventure film that is inspired by Walt Disney’s animated film (1941), based on Harold Pearl and Helen Aberson novel. The film stars Michael Keaton, Colin Farrell, Alan Arkin, Eva Green, and Danny DeVito, and follows a family that encounters a baby elephant while working at a failing traveling circus.
This Hollywood film premiered on March 11, 2019, in Los Angeles and was theatrically released in the U.S on March 29, 2019. The star performance was praised, and the film received mixed reviews from people.
