Mirza Ali has climbed the highest peak “Mount Everest” on 22nd May, 2019 and became the second Pakistani to do 7 Summits in the seven continents of the world. Seven Summits mean climbing the highest peaks in each and every continent of the world.

Mirza Ali Climbed Mount-Everest 

Mirza Ali from Gilgit is a brother of the first Pakistani woman climber to have done 7 Summits named “Samina Baig” who climbed Everest in 2013. Ali was part of an expedition team which comprises of eight members to do the Summit the highest peak in the world. According to reports, this adventure started in the first week of April, 2019.

Alpine Club of Pakistan explained that Mirza Ali scaled the Everest on Wednesday 22nd May, and then hosted the Pakistani flag on the top.

This expedition event was organized by the “Pioneer Adventure”. All the members of the expedition said that they feel proud that Mirza Ali became the first Pakistani man to climb all the highest peaks in the continents after his Summit to the Everest.

Sources told that Mr Adrian Laza from Romania and two Sherpa guides was part of the first team who climbed the Everest.

In the past four Pakistanis also successfully climbed the Mount Everest. These include Nazir Sabir, Hassan Sadpara, Samina Baig, belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan, and Col retired Abdul Jabbar Bhatti from Punjab. Nazia Sabir was the first one to climb the Mount Everest in 2000.

Samina Baig is the first one among all of them to climb the highest peak in 2013. The wife of Mirza Ali, Samiya Mirza said that this expedition was not supported by anyone.

She further said that it was Mirza Ali’s dream which comes true after the struggle of 7 years.

She said that he is an inspiration for Pakistani men and this is a time to celebrate the victory. Samiya told the media that Mirza Ali is going to reach the base camp in the next two days as he has started descending.
