Maryam Nawaz, Bullet-proof Mercedes, Mercedes

A bullet-proof Mercedes has been retrieved from the Jati Umra residence of the former Prime Minister on 4th of July. The Mercedes belonged to cabinet division and it was allegedly still being used by Maryam Nawaz. The cars were given to the Prime Minister as a measure of security on May 31, 2017.

The Cabinet Division Asked the former Premier to Return the Fancy Cars Immediately:

The Cabinet Division asked the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to return the luxury cars on June 28th, in a letter. It was mentioned that the cars should be returned to the transport pool, immediately as they are government property and Nawaz Sharif wasn’t eligible to use them anymore.

The letter was received by the Superintendent of Kot Lakhpat Jail:

The letter addressed to the former Prime Minister of Pakistan was delivered to the Kot Lakhpat Jail where the Superintendent received it. While a copy of the letter was sent to Maryam Nawaz, the Vice-President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

Imran Khan Fulfilled yet another promise: Retrieved Merceds from Maryam Nawaz

The bullet Proof Mercedes car bearing the registration number GDA-059 was recovered after the necessary paperwork was completed, And with this yet another promise is fulfilled by the Leader Imran Khan. In his Campaign, he promised to confiscate all the Government’s assets illegally used by the Politicians and corrupt leaders.

Firdous Ashiq Awan termed the recovered items as stolen goods:

Our very own Firdous Ashiq Awan, the PM’s assistant for Information and Broadcasting reported the recovery of the bullet-proof Mercedes from Maryam Nawaz, as retrieval of “stolen items” in her tweet.

She said the process of recovering government’s assets has been started from confiscating Governments luxury cars from Jati Umra. In a tweet, she said, while the nation is living below the poverty line the Sharif family was enjoying the luxury vehicles, that too on the state’s money.

She said Mian Sahab only remembered Awam once he was caught.

So, guys what do you think? The process is slow but at least it is happening.
