Lenovo Thinkpad x1 carbon introduced the new prototype foldable laptop with an OLED Display after the discovery of foldable phones. This will be a complete prototype product, but the specifications are still not known. However, Lenovo will soon launch its prototype foldable laptop in 2020, as they have been working on it for the past three years. Lenovo ThinkPad x1 extreme Tablet will be a very stylish foldable device with heavy-duty performance. The lastest Lenovo x1 carbon review can be discussed below so that we could know the specification this device currently holds. Lenovo Thinkpad x1 size is 330 x 227 x 18 mm.
Lenovo Thinkpad x1 tablet
We, all know that this is going to be the era of foldable smartphones. Earlier this year Samsung attempted to make the first foldable phone “Galaxy Fold” and little damage was reported by the users. Despite the fact that Samsung claimed that they have tested their product thoroughly, questions about the durability and design were raised by the customers.
However, Lenovo Thinkpad x1 extreme tablet will be like a literal notebook. A foldable is the one that requires to reduce its size but expand the quality of the display at the same time. The goal behind the foldable product is that it should be like a paper sheet with a technology that makes it act like a special screen.
If we have a closer look at this folded laptop, then its fold is marginally greater than a phone and the screen is almost similar to that of the mini iPad. It shows that this new Lenovo laptop will be perfect for multitasking like gaming and video streaming.
Lenovo x1 carbon Review, Specification, and Size
Lenovo laptop certainly will come up with a 13.3-inch screen and when it is folded up, you will see a mini screen of 9.6-inches that will look like a regular notebook. This is the way the new upcoming prototype Lenovo ThinkPad X1 will work.
Well, if we talk about the exterior of this laptop, it got a leather body with edges like a glass that disappears as we unfold the laptop. The laptop is a little heavy to hold it in one hand and easily manageable with both hands.
You can use this laptop by connecting it with the Bluetooth laptop as well. All you have to do is to unfold the laptop and connect it with the Bluetooth keyboard, just like the traditional laptop. We know that Lenovo will introduce this laptop along with the Bluetooth keyboard.
The second way to use this laptop is just folded it halfway on the table and that will not require the keyboard.
Other things that will come up with the Bluetooth laptop are stylus from Wacom, stereo speaker, an infrared camera and 2 USB-C ports. This device will be powered by an Intel processor and battery will be durable enough to stay all day long.
The display screen is laminated and it is not covered with the glass but the polymer. Moreover, it has an OLED display that makes it more attractive with an LG display. It will be having a screen resolution of around 2K along with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Although it is claimed that Lenovo ThinkPad x1 carbon will be durable and will be rigorously tested before it will be shown to the world but we still cannot say anything about it.
