LDA city, Nespak

NESPAK Managing Director Dr. Tahir Masood was recently informed that the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has awarded the detailed design/review and infrastructural contract of the LDA City Phase-1 to his company.

The infrastructure development to be managed under the LDA city by NESPAK, will include the development of roads, sewerage treatment plants and drainage systems, water supply systems, parks, commercial and residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and mosques.

The project will be approximately around 28,000 Kanals and the total cost for the project is Rs. 33 Billion.


The Lahore Development Authority has recently approved Rs. 3.8 Billion for the project. This was done in a meeting, held previously on April 22, which was chaired by the Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar.

Other than this, the board has also taken some important decisions regarding the development of the LDA City, which includes land acquisition.

Furthermore, the meeting approved the design of the total project and the applicable developmental charges on the project’s plot allottees.

The Phase-I of the project will be spread around 13,000 Kanals. And in this total area of 13,000 Kanals, there will be 85 two-Kanal plots, 2288 one-Kanal plots, 4231 ten-Marla plots, and 4793 five-Marla plots will be constructed.

Some sources have further claimed that its been more than a month, work on the 150 feet LDA City main boulevard is started. The Engineering Wind of the Project is currently busy in levelling the main boulevard.

From the approved Rs. 3.8 Billion, a lump sum amount of Rs. 1.2 Billion has been allocated for the development of the LDA City.

A total of Rs. 12 Million will be spent on various beautification projects around the city, while the meeting also concluded with an approval for the construction of an overhead bridge near Data Nagar.
