Google has Halted the License of Android For Huawei

Google has reached to Twitter to make a statement regarding the Huawei access to the Android services and applications as their license has been cancelled. The update elaborated that the current Android phones of Huawei will have the access to the Google services and applications like Google Play and security from Google Play Protect. However, the upcoming series of Huawei phones will be impacted by this decision.

They further stated that they are complying with the U.S Government orders regarding placing Huawei on their entry list. Well, the extent to which future of this leading smartphone company will suffer from this decision is still not known.

Google has recently suspended its operations with the leading mobile phone manufacturing company and this decision is going to require the complete transfer of hardware and software products.

According to the reliable source Reuters, Huawei is going to lose access to the updates of the Android operating system immediately. This forced halt has brought Huawei to the position that it will lose complete access to all the popular applications including Google Play Store and Gmail app in the next versions of smartphones even outside China.

Well, bad news is that Huawei P30, P30 Pro, Mate 20 Pro and other old and newly coming versions will no longer have any Android security updates.

Google Suspended Huawei Operations After Trump Blacklist

Google is considered as one of the US companies which has the highest number of Android operating system users in the world. On Wednesday, U.S Department of Commerce announced that Huawei and 68 other affiliates have been added to the Entry List that is trade blacklist. Google immediate action is the result of an executive order that is signed by U.S. President Trump.

In 2019, Huawei has recently shipped around 59 million smartphones, which made huge devices powered by the Android operating system. This has already given Huawei a margin to surpass Samsung and other Chinese leading smartphone companies. They were expected to become the best seller, if Google had not suspended ties with them after being blacklisted in the US.

However, Huawei users will have access to the licensed open version of the Android operating system. CEO of Huawei, Ren said that for the time, Huawei’s growth may get slightly slow under the US restrictions. Honor 20 was about to launch on Tuesday, May 21 and now it is unclear that whether, they will reveal it or not.

Google has recently changed the game of smartphone manufacturing companies, but time will show that how Chinese companies will respond to this matter.
