Facebook Has Banned Huawei From Pre-Installing Its Apps

Facebook has banned Huawei from pre-installing its apps on the Huawei handsets. Facebook has recently announced that they are not going to allow Huawei to pre-install apps like Instagram and WhatsApp in their box packed handsets. This is another bad news for Huawei who has been facing the U.S China trade war for months.

Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram Pre-installation

Those Huawei users who have already installed Facebook and its related apps like Instagram and WhatsApp on their smartphones will be able to receive and install updates from PlayStore. However, after the latest ban on Huawei, these apps would not be pre-installed on Huawei smartphones like before.

According to reports, it is revealed that Facebook will no longer allow any kind of pre-installation of apps on Huawei phones. The customers who already have Huawei phones will continue to use these apps and receive updates. But, the newly coming Huawei smartphones will not be able to reinstall the apps like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Previously, Google in ARM has banned Huawei from its services and after this suspension, they have also created their own smartphone chip. The Facebook ban is for all those Huawei phones which have not yet left the company. Those smartphones which have not yet launched fall under this ban.

The fact is that the Huawei company vision to become the largest manufacturer of smartphones in the world seems ambiguous. The smartphones have been crippled and trying hard to come back in the race of giant tech.

Reports from South China states that there is a decrease in the sales of Huawei smartphones and an acute decline in global production. However, Huawei claimed that global production is normal and no decrease in sales has been recorded. After this, a report from Asian Review explained the fact that Huawei sales have been declined by 20% to 30% in the second half of 2019.

Well, it is still unclear that after Huawei announced to launch its own operating system (OS), the Chinese tech company will halt its production or not. Huawei has already revealed that the new operating system will be launched after the confirmation of the ban from Android updates.
