Huawei has now confirmed that its five more phones will enjoy the Android based EMUI 9.1 update which was previously uncertain due to the China-U.S trade war. You must know the news of the recent restoration of the license of Huawei from Google for Android. However, this Chinese company is still on the U.S Entity List.
Although the ban has been lifted by Trump and the U.S administration, and the U.S companies are allowed to do business and trade with Huawei but it is still on their list. The trade is allowed for the products and services which does not pose a security threat to the U.S nation.
5 Huawei Phones getting EMUI 9.1 Android Updates
Recently the South African branch of Huawei confirmed the fact that five more smartphones will have the Android updates of EMUI 9.1. A good news from this Chinese company and Huawei phones will start getting updates from July.
The flagship devices of this giant tech which will be getting updates are:
- Huawei P20
- Huawei P20 Pro
- Huawei Mate 10 Pro
- Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design
- Mate RS Porsche Design
According to the reports these updates are in favor of Google goodwill because it has been feared that Google may lose 7 million users, if Huawei totally leave Android. This is somehow obvious as Huawei has its own operating system HongMeng OS, which we may see the glimpse soon.

EMUI 9.1 is offering many features like EROFS file system, and GPU Turbo 3.0. Moreover, the camera is an AI-based which has improvements with the Moon mode that is found in the P30 line.
