Pakistani Opener Babar Azam’s Century leads the team to win in their First T20 during the Pakistan Tour of England last practice match in Leicestershire.
Before this, the greens won two back to back practice One-Day Matches, one in Kent and the other in Northamptonshire. Babar Azam’s Century led Pakistan a 58 run victory against England in Leicestershire.
It was the third and the last practice match of the Pakistan Tour of England, ahead of their International T20 match and a five One-Day International match series.
England won the toss where they elected to bowl first. Pakistani team opened with Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam.
Babar Azam scored a 101 in which he hit 13 fours and two sixes during his 63-ball innings. Fakhar Zaman strolled with him for a total score of 52 in just 30 balls which lead Pakistan to score 200 for six wickets in their 20 overs.
Ben Mike was the picker of three wickets, including one of Babar Azam for a total 38 runs. Dieter Klein and other bowlers also flustered in with some wickets.
In reply, the home cricketers attack started badly as they were falling to three wickets with the score of only 39.
The run rate has seen the low score of just 38 in six overs.
Wickets continued to fall at a steady speed with no bigger partnerships and it was not until before the ninth wicket when Mike and Callum Parkinson put on a partnership of 59 before their dismissal at 142 in 19.2 overs.
