Seeing Suzuki and Toyota raises their car price Atlas Honda followed the footsteps and increased bikes price, which not happened for the first time in 2019.
Atlas Honda has increased the bikes prices by Rs. 400 PKR to Rs. 2000 PKR. The prices vary in between the mentioned, depending upon the model. The increase of PKR 400 is for the CD-70, CD Dream and Pridor.
After the hike, the new prices are
Honda CD-70: PKR 70,900
Honda CD Dream: PKR 74,900
Honda Pridor: PKR 96,900
For the 125 models inclusively the Honda CG125, CG125S, CG125S Special Edition, CB125F and CB125F Special Edition, the prices were increased by PKR 1500.
Honda CG125: PKR 117,500
Honda CG125S: PKR 136,500
Honda CG125S Special Edition: PKR 137,900
Honda CB125F: PKR 161,500
Honda CB125F Special Edition: PKR 163,500
Meanwhile, the prices of the CB150F are hiked by PKR 2,000 making the new price to PKR 193,900.
Earlier in January and March, the bikes prices of Atlas Honda increased by PKR 2000. And just like any other manufacturers, the main reason of these hike in prices is the Pakistani currency (Rupee) against the U.S Dollar.
According to the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) report, in the first nine months of this fiscal year, the bikes sales have faced a 6% decline. The sales went from 838,395 units in the same phase as that of the last year to 823,918 in this year’s phase.
Atlas Honda motorcycles faced a 5% sale decline in the March of 2019, when compared to February 2019, and 17% sale decline when compared to the March of 2018.
But the contrary happened to Suzuki and Yamaha, seeing their sales increasing from 18,193 and 17,873 units as compared to 15,083 and 15,971 units in the nine months fiscal year of 2018.
