Asma Zaheer Pakistani Computer Scientist Won IBM Award

Asma Zaheer is a Pakistani Computer Scientist who has received a “Best of IBM 2019” Award from American Multinational technology company. She became the first Pakistani who is honored with this prestigious award “Best of IBM 2019”. IBM (International Business Machine Corporation) is a multinational technology company and its headquarter is located in Armonk, New York. IBM pakistan is Proud that award has been won by a Pakistani computer scientist.

IBM Award Ceremony 2019

This award ceremony took place in Bali, Indonesia, where senior leaders of Big Blue arrived. Around 1000 best IBM Honorees were present along with their guests. These best honorees contributed well in boosting the return to growth and positioning of the company. The great contribution of 1000 honorees in making IBM, a leader in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Hybrid Cloud, and Analytics.

The Award for “Best of IBM 2019” choose those winners who have worked harder in developing, growing the company in terms of increasing the success. The IBM employees who were chosen for the award includes those who have contributed in a productive way towards the accomplishment of company, clients and world at large. Winners were selected from all the business units and roles. These award deserving candidates have given their best in increasing the growth of IBM to reach to the end results.

At the award ceremony, the Chairman, CEO, and President of IBM, Ms Virginia Marie “Ginni” Rometty, admired the efforts of performers like Asma Zaheer. Asma has completed her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Punjab University. She has done her Masters from FAST, Lahore, the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.

She became part of IBM Pakistan in 2013 as an IGNITE and Test Innovation Practice Leader. Her role was connected with the Global Business Services of IBM and Client Innovation Centre (CIC). She was mainly dedicated to work in the cognitive computing system, cloud computing and analytics as her majors.

This is a great pride moment for our nation that a Tech graduate of Pakistan has worked harder and owns a place among the toppers in the world famous Technology company.
