Google has applied some new features for user app permissions in Google Pixel as well as other Android phones. Android 10 x Google Pixel
Android 10 started working on Google Pixel phones from 3rd September 2019.
To check the update, go to the Settings> System > System Update.
If there is any update visible about the Android version, tap it. The update is available on Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL. It will be present in Pixel 4 by default. Users will not require to update on Pixel 4. If you want to get Android 10 update ASAP, choose a beta version, then the actual version will download immediately.
Recent Security Updates
Google has recently released an update regarding security. The update also came with several advancements for the pixel phones. A monthly security update on Google Pixel XL and Google Pixel will soon end as announced by the Google support website. These updates will not affect the performance of any member of the Pixel family.
Recently, the zero-day flaw has been discovered. Google installed this in Pixel and Pixel 2 smartphones as well. There is also a fix regarding security framework error. It fixed two Qualcomm components as well as Registered Services Cache.
Google says in Pixel update bulletin,
“Pixel 1 and Pixel 2 devices will receive the patch for CVE-2019-2215 as part of the October update. Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a devices are not vulnerable to this issue.”

“The most severe of these issues is a critical security vulnerability in the Media framework component that could enable a remote attacker using a specially crafted file to execute arbitrary code within the context of a privileged process.”
At the start, there were two flaws in the system. One was a flaw in Qualcomm parts and the other was kernel component errors. The Qualcomm components also include closed-source components.
The functional updates for the month of October include system and Wi-Fi durability improvements. It also has solved the issue regarding memory leakage in User Interface. Not only this, but it also got heads up notifications fixed. It also enhanced the system of gesture navigation and bootloop in selected device locale modes. Moreover, there were issues regarding sensor calibration revisions and missing notifications in Pixel stand mode. But now, after this update, there is no place for these issues.

Google has also published the Android Security Bulletin for the month of October. It shared details of security updates that are available to Android manufacturers as well. It will be soon set out for all the Android gadgets out there.
The latest security patch also includes an improved and better framework. It is precisely mentioned in Android Security Bulletin as,
“Enable a local malicious application to bypass user interaction requirements in order to gain access to additional permissions.”
